If you ignore every post I make (and I'm sure a lot of you do), don't ignore this one. This is quite possibly the coolest thing I have ever, or even will ever, post about. You're going to need Google Chrome to view this, but even if you download it just for this, I promise you it will be completely worth it. You can download Chrome here if you don't have it.

On August 30th, indie rock band Arcade Fire teamed up with director Chris Milk to create an entirely new internet film experience. Milk's resume includes music videos for artists such as U2, Green Day, Kanye West, and several others. This project, The Wilde...

A post on NeoGAF today featured some interesting screenshots from the upcoming sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum - Arkham City.

The screenshots, which strangely enough didn't come from any official press release, show off some of Batman's fighting skills and crime-solving gadgets. More interestingly, however, we finally have a look at the new villains who wreak havoc in this sequel.

Amongst the shots of Joker-worshipping clown-masked gang-bangers are a few looks at Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Two-Face. View the rest of the full size screenshots after the jump! ...

Mark Millar, the creator of Kick-Ass, has released the first eight pages of volume two in the series to CLiNT Magazine, and they will appear in the comic book magazine's first issue on September 2nd.

Leaks of these pages suggest what we might expect for the movie's plot. In a previous interview, Millar explained that in the sequel Red Mist will be gathering together a group of would-be supervillains, and that he has been doing some training to prepare himself for a revenge plot against Kick-Ass and Hit Girl.

According to Bleeding Cool...

George Romero, what am I going to do about you? I loved "Night of the Living Dead," really, I did! I thought that it was such a rad concept of a movie, a black man and a white woman trying to survive a situation that is impossible to survive or really even conceive of at the time it was made. Man, that is brilliant, on like, a couple of levels. Then you make "Dawn of the Dead," which explored human interactions in a group when thrown into a survival situation, and then "Day of the Dead?" Such a great idea to add more people AND the military! It just adds such a unique level of stress and power struggles within a group of people. So of course I was really excited to hear about your movie "Land of The Dead," I didn't care that it got panned by critics, I didn't care that the remake of Dawn of the Dead was terrible. I was just so excited to see this series continued! It was the concept of a large scale community trying to sur...

You guys all know Valve, right? They created the Half-Life series (which begot Counter-Strike, one of the most competitive PC games this side of World of Warcraft), as well as Portal. In addition to having such an impressive resume of critically acclaimed products, they also run Steam, a service that allows PC gamers to buy and download all manner of gaming products, including full titles. One of their biggest sellers is Team Fortress 2, an online shooter with its own dedicated community.

Team Fortress 2 regularly gets updated, and lately they've been slowly working on one of the playable characters, the Engineer, who wields a wrench and builds turrets and other mechanical machinations of metallic murder. In the midst of the updates, Valve announced that they would be randomly awarding Golden Wrenches to lucky players...

Just recently, TMZ released a two and a half minute video showing clips from a pilot episode featuring eight Asian house mates (four male, four female) starring in a reality TV show that's supposedly "an Asian version of Jersey Shore," and is also going to "show Asian Americans like they've never been seen before to the rest of the world."

Now, I don't know how I appear to the rest of the world, but I'm certainly not as exciting as these young folk. The pilot's preview shows these young individuals partying "'til the sunrise".

For those that are unaware, I've spent my life surrounded by true Asian culture. I grew up in Asia when I was younger, but even when I came back to the states, my famil...

If there's anything you should know going into Inception, it's that it comes from the mind of Christopher Nolan. For reference, if MC Escher were a director he'd seem like a cheap imitator of Nolan's collective body of work. Seriously, try watching any one of his movies once, and only once. Now try reciting the entire plot. I promise you, you forgot something. Did you remember what Michael Caine was doing? Don't forget about the double! You see, I've figured out Nolan's gambit: set up an original and compelling premise and populate it with an interesting cast with good chemistry. Now that the trap is set, VIOLATE THE AUDIENCE'S TENDER, PINK, VIRGIN MINDS. They will come crawling back, tattered and broken, attempting to comprehend what it was that shattered their fragile reality.

The latest take on Nolan's maniacal plot to break unsuspecting moviegoers, Inception, is all about dreams. Leonardo DiCaprio extracts information from pe...

You know, when I woke up today, I didn't really think that the world of music was coming to an end. I didn't see any signs of the planet collapsing inwardly on itself, which is good. Sure, the radio was playing the same crap as usual.

But you know what? I could live with that. Just the same garbage that's spewed out onto the airwaves every day by talentless hacks who promote promiscuity and drinking as much as possible. No big deal- nothing that could potentially destroy the universe.

And then I remembered, "oh yeah, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em continues to exist, and some unholy demonic entity continues to allow him the use of a recording studio. A studio which, I'm certain, lies somewhere deep in the ninth circle of Hell, just within the depths of Satan's anus."

Well let's take a look at wh...

In 2005, Nickelodeon aired an animated fantasy-adventure series called Avatar: The Last Airbender. The series won many awards, and received high praise and positive reception. The series soon stormed the nation, becoming one of the top animated series of Nickelodeon. In 2010, a live action movie dubbed "The Last Airbender" was spawned, but to much lesser reception. For many Avatar fans, this was a let down for many reasons. For a moment, fans were left wondering if the Avatar series would be left to die with the live-action film. It has been confirmed however, that the series isn't quite over yet.

Although the creators of the show had plans to leave the show at its finale, the success of Avatar: The Last Airbender caused not only fans, but Nickelodeon executives to ask for more episodes. Avatar: The Legend of Korra is a new animated spin-off series confirmed to be released in 2011. Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the writer and director of the...
