Has anyone watched Game of Thrones on HBO? It's freaking amazing. If you haven't seen it, just view this brief clip:

Also this scene is great too!

A bit of a warning though, these scenes are are graphic.
What's your favorite part in Game of Thrones season 1?

Amen to that.
Don't even get me started on GoT, I got my hands on the entire season and watched it all in one sitting. I have the biggest hard-on for the show and almost all the characters. I've read Game of Thrones book (which is followed amazingly by the show by the way) and just like the show, it's incredibly hard to single out a favourite character. Arya, Daeny, The Hound, The Imp, Little Finger, The Eunuch, Khal Drogo, Rob Stark, John Snow and even Sansa (who has one chapter in the whole book, though I hear she plays an important part in future books as well as Arya).
One character I do not like in either book or show is Catelyn Stark -_- I don't know what it is about her character that makes me dislike her so much. Pretty much all other characters are likable in their own way, even if they are Lannisters ;o
I'm assuming you've seen the whole season, if not then I wouldn't read my spoiler.
I'm surprised I haven't tried to spoil anything for myself...Though one friend did spoil a major plot for Arya, but it was really only expected.
I've started reading Clash of Kings (second book) but it's really slow to begin with >_<

I'm glad to see another fan on board. After the first season, I had to read the books right away. The 2nd book does start off a bit slow (and in my opinion, the slowest book of all) but it does get interesting. I'm not a big fan on Catelyn either, I find her really annoying as well. My favorite is Jon Snow and Ayra. As of yet, my favorite book in the series (still reading book 4: Feast of Crows, next is Dance of Dragons) is Clash of Swords. There's just so many unexpected things to happen. Season 3 is probably going to be the most epic season. Daenarys (sp?) does go through some interesting trials, needless to say. I wish you would finish with the 2nd book so we can have more of a discussion!

Even if I were to finish the second book, this wouldn't be the correct forum to talk about it
But as for the show though. So fucking awesome. I'm amped for the next season, which is due out in...April? We only get it here in NZ on a subscription chanel, so I'll probably just try to watch it online somehow....I truly truly hope Cersei Lannister and Joffrey die a million deaths -_-
Although the show follows the book quite well I was disappointed to find that what happened in Sansa's chapter wasn't quite in the show how it was in the book. I mean...really she only gets one chapter for that book, you'd expect them to have few deviations from it, but apart from that, the differences between the book and show are not all that noticable, I'm hoping the second season is as loyal.

Ayra actually has a huge role in the 2nd season...you'll see. :-)

I feel like a book worm, because I've gotten this more no more than 4 days ago, and I have just about 150 pages left.

Right now I'm still on book 4, which is A Feast For Crows. A Dance of Dragons is the 5th and the most recent book in the series.
