To those that still browse here every once in awhile....how are you guys? I miss posting with you people, I really do.
What do you guys think about...maybe trying to get this place rolling again minus the website (I'm terrible at editing the website and adding content, etc)?

Well unfortunately I keep my facebook separate from online stuffs so I can just keep being alone.

I've posted this same thing a few times, but I'll say it again. The thing is, we know what it would take to keep this place going. We were doing it, things WERE at a point where activity and new membership was doing nothing but climb. We were doing all the right things, and then a few people on staff stopped having time, and then the rest either stopped having time or stopped caring because there wasn't enough help. The problem is that, even when things were going smoothly, we had so few people out of a small community who were helping. Keeping a community running successfully running is not a one or even a two person job, but that's pretty much what it became. Keeping new things going requires a LOT of time and a LOT of dedication, which for a long time I didn't really mind because I had the time to spare and the community's involvement kept me dedicated. But I had a baby, and with all the people who were gone/disinterested I could no longer put the time into keeping the community together. I fully believe that had people stayed involved and active and contributing, I would have made time for TKK. But it did get to a point where TKK became, I'm sorry to say it, a waste of time for me.
And while I hate to write something like this and be self-centered like it's all on me, it pretty much was. Very few members had the technical know-how to make things happen, and those who did didn't because of either lack of time or dedication. Which is fine. It's just that no one could step up to take my place. The whole community WAS resting on the activity and involvement on one person, and that CAN NOT HAPPEN in a successful community.
Considering how long the place has been entirely dead, and how we have the Facebook group that keeps us all together, which doesn't require effort to keep up, it's just there... I think that's what we as a community need. I don't think the forum is coming back this time.
