I know, I know, I know. Terrible for your health. Yet so many people still do it. I, myself, do so incredibly sparingly. Since I smoke Black and Mild cigars, I actually keep the plastic mouthpieces of the ones I fully smoked on display in plain sight (Of course not in the presence of company) to keep track and remind me to keep them as low as possible. Another thing I do is, I try not to smoke casually. Usually only lighting one up after a bad day at work where I don't hit quota, or before to administer and unhealthy dose of giveashit if I'm stressing because I know it's going to be incredibly difficult day ahead (Like yesterday when I knew I'd have to run everything by myself and process TONS of ultra-sensitive paperwork, deal with insufferable people while negotiating, and remember countless steps. Even so, I still forgot to send my closing numbers --VERY important-- to my regional manager because I had to clock out an hour late to finish and correct paperwork) In total, I try to limit myself to anywhere from 2-4 a week. Plus maybe sneaking in half of one for a casual every now and then.

So, my question to everyone is, where do you all stand on the idea of smoking? For me, it's not so much a death-gripping habit, so to speak, than an occasional unhealthy tool.

Ashura : (07 November 2010 - 06:54 PM) Well, as a karate expert I think going back home every weekend would do you some good.
Sophos : (07 November 2010 - 06:54 PM) The hell does that have to do with karate?
Sophos : (07 November 2010 - 06:55 PM) And since when did you become an expert?

If a woman smoked it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I care more about a chick's personality than by what she does to help her relieve stress. I certainly wouldn't be HAPPY that she smokes a pack a day, but I wouldn't not give her a chance over it. And if she lit up a blunt twice a month or something hell, I'd probably care even less.

EDIT: I KNOW SHE WOULD AMIRITE!? :teehee:
Haiku's can be fun.
But sometimes they don't make sense.

Smoking isn't a big deal to me at all, most of my friends smoke, I don't mind men who smoke and I myself do. I'm not a huge fan of cigs or cigars, I'll only smoke like, one cig in a social setting, if I feel like it, and its always my friends that share with me(I refuse to buy a pack).I just refuse to develop the habit of smoking cigs, those commercials scare the shit out of me. I'm also always mindful of children, if I'm walking somewhere smoking and I see children I'll even go as far as putting it out, then relighting it again when they're out of range.
The only cigs I smoke though are Marlborough Reds, I hate Newport's, they hit you way too hard, and cigars such as Black N Milds don't do anything for me, they're actually pretty bad for you, and they only smell/taste good. I mostly just smoke pot, and normally I do it out of bowls, I don't like blunts for the life of me, but joints are nice when rolled right. I wouldn't say I have a real habit, I'll blaze like twice every other week or so. I think it's all about moderation, while I know plenty of fully functioning people who smoke pot everyday, I wouldn't condone it, that and going through a pack a day, its just not good for you. I mean, smoking is bad for you period, but so is everything else in this world. It's all about moderation.

Dr. Feelgood sure is popular with the ladies. He must live up to his name.

Not really, they called him Sir Shorty for a reason.
