Signature from the newest DS RPG from Atlus, Radiant Historia.
I'm gonna be brutally honest and say this is the best or one of the best DS games ever.
Clearly there's lots of stuff to add (IMO, atleast), so I'm just leaving this here to have opinions on how it's going so far, then add more stuff later. :3
I've been reading about this game for a while now and I want it SO badly...
The only critique I can really formulate right now is that the text is so close in color to the background that it hardly sticks out in some spots at all, and it's kind of distracting.
I'm liking it, though.

I like that the text isn't too noticeable actually, it works well imo.
The left of his face looks a little choppy, most likely just due to sharpening, I'd erase that or blur it a bit. Otherwise I really like the icy feel you've got going here, excited to see what more you do with it. =]
Wow, this is looking really nice so far! I have to disagree about the text. I think it looks good- if anything, it could be a little more subtle, in my opinion. As always, I'm loving the lighting effects, though I can't decide if I like the blending on the cape or not... It seems to cut the cape off quite suddenly. On the one hand, it makes nice flow, but on the other, the way it's cut off is a little distracting.
Definitely looks like a WiP, but it's looking good so far! Not sure what to tell you about what to add, though. D:

Anyways, added a new version, about the blending of the cape, can't do anything, there was somebody else in the original stock blocking that part, so I just smudged all over it and tried to blend the best I could.
I'll start adding more foreground tommorow, just making sure if the changes with the contrast are good or if they are too much.

Update looks nice! I'd consider extending the blue area, though. The white seems overwhelmingly bright.

Nice work, I love the lighting and the blending of the piece, though I feel like the white area on the left could blend in a bit more subtly. Just imo.
Other than that its shaping up very nicely and I'm excited to see the finished version.
