I've been majorly slumped as of late. :c
So, I decided to open up the PSD of one of my favorite tags I've ever done, and kind of just remake it in a way. Sometimes this helps me, haha. Figured it was worth a go. Link to old one: http://fc09.devianta..._by_Misty82.png

The colouring and text placement are both a lot better in my opinion. I'm not sure if I like the boarder or not, but recently I've grown to hate all boarders it fees like.
I can't say I like the border much either, but the text and colors are great!! Overall, I really like the effects, but it seems a bit empty. The smudging (?) seems to sort of... frame the edges of the sig, and leaves a lot of negative space all around Sora. I'm not sure what would be a better way to fill that space, but I feel like it needs something more.
Overall, awesome work, though!

I have to agree that the text and colors are better on the new one, imo. The border looks nicer to me on this one, but I still think it would be stronger without a border at all, honestly.
Something about the top left corner and the left side in general seems very empty to me, like Becky said. I don't know what, but it just seems like it needs more than that splash of darkness in the corner to pull it together.
I really like it, though! even after getting a formal education on the subject, my Ps skillz are quite lacking. -_- I wish I had the ability to do work of this quality presently.

Well, the original concept was to have a beach-like thing going on. The tan stuff is the sand and the blue is the beach... o: It sounds so silly when I say it, haha.
But thank you guys! =] I'm mainly just proud I got anything out of Photoshop tbh, haha.
Ah, I see what you mean now with the concept. Perhaps you could have the beach fade into sky and have some sort of cloud effects?
