Just a note that the Legendary Beasts (Raikou, Entei and Suicune) are being given away at Gamestop this month!

They're all shiny, and trigger the Zoroark event in Black and White.

Raikou is being given away from January 3rd- 9th

Entei from the 17th-23rd

and Suicune from January 31st to February 6th.

ALSO

Tory R Us stores are giving away Ash's Pikachu from January 30th to February 5th.

There's no in-game event related to it or anything, but it's at lvl 50 and comes with a Light Ball. It also knows Volt Tackle, Iron Tail, Quick Attack and Thunderbolt.

AND

Gamestop is doing another giveaway in February.

Celebi will be given away from February 27th to possibly March 5th.

This Celebi will be capable of unlocking the time travel event in HeartGold and SoulSilver.



Note: these distributions are available for all 5 Generation 4 games, so if you've got them all, you can get 5 of all these pokemon. :awesome:

I'm sad that I forgot about the Mew event until the last minute, so I never got my Mew :(

I'll be sure to remember to get these pokemons thou :chocolate:

Do you know how to use the "Mystery Gift" function?

All you need to do is go to the right place, say, a Gamestop, and turn on your DS with one of the games inside.

Instead of starting your save file, go down to Mystery Gift and select "recieve gift" then "get from wireless."

it'll search the area and should detect the signal from the device giving the download. From there, just click on "yes" to accept it and it'll download for you to enjoy. :D

You don't need to be inside the Gamestop, just around the area. So even if Gamestop is closed you can be outside the car downloading it. :-)

This is true, but who goes to Gamestop and doesn't want to look around? :D

EDIT- However, from my experience with the TRU giveaways, you should probably be in the store. It's a big place and the game department isn't always close enough to get signal from outside.

I'd feel awkward just walking into Gamestop, whipping my DS out and then being like, "See ya!"

But TRU is a little different. Now, I know where the game department is and it's located on the outer perimeter. So I'll just park my car for a few moments by there, download, then go. :D

Exactly. Plus I hate the workers at the Gamestops where I live by. They're very snoddy and the stores are usually messy.

OH, I forgot.

The Celebi also unlocks a level 10 Zorua in B&W.

weird that you get both parts of its evolution line in separate events. O.o

according to Serebii, you can breed both of them.

I think the Zoroark might be special somehow, though... not sure.

I hope you can, if not I won't be using Zorua or Zoroark. As I tend to not use any special event Pokemon. Speaking of that, what are some of the Special Event Pokemon you guys have gotten? Unfortunately, I've missed out on Arceus and Darkrai, but this is mine:

Jirachi
Mew
Manaphy
Phione
(Shiny) Evee

I believe I have a couple more, I just can't think of them at the moment.

Ah yes I have the Shiny Pichu and the Spiky Eared Pichu as well. I really hope they remake Emerald and Sapphire, so I can get the other Regi's to get Gigas.

My mistakes I had meant Ruby and Sapphire, not Emerald. It would be nice if you can catch both Kyogre and Groudon in both versions though.

Well, yeah. I know it's be against their whole plot to sell as many games as possible, but I'd like to see Emerald remade alone. One game, catch them all, all 3 of the weather trio.

and it's green. :icame:

Plus, emerald had the battle fronteir and extra zones in the Safari Zone... it was great finally being able to get some Johto pokemon.

I would prefer to see Ruby and Sapphire remade than 1 version. It can even be titled something like: "Sparkling Ruby" and "Dazzling Sapphire". It would be great to see them implement all the features that were in Emerald, such as the Battle Frontier. Maybe even some extra features for those who have a 3DS would be pretty neat as well...I guess it'll come out a year or two after Black and White...so we definitely have some time.
