Anyone ever try the game out? The campaigns in single player are fairly short, but good. You can be a Predator, an Alien, or a Marine, all with unique play styles..

Marine is your typical FPS shooter. Pulse Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol, Smart Gun, grenade launcher attachment (pulse rifle), and even a good ol' flamethrower. You have 3 stimpacks at a time to help keep you alive.

Predator is more on Stealth than the marine. It has the traditional wrist blades and plasmacaster (the shoulder canon) as well as the smart disc, mines, and combistick (used as a spear) The predator has the Cloak, and can jump pretty amazing distances. Several vision modes, and even the voice imitation function, in singleplayer, to lure marines to a vulnerable area.

Aliens are almost pure Ninja in singleplayer. You can crawl on walls and ceilings, and use your teeth, claws, and tail to gouge, slash, and impale enemies. You even have the acidic blood! But thats only useful in Multiplayer. You can hiss, both in multiplayer or singleplayer mode, to unnerve other players, or lure them into a trap. Heals over time, naturally.

I have two videos, showing play time of all 3 species. One is a Predator Hunt match (think Juggernaut from Halo*) and one is a Species Team Deathmatch, where it's a 3 way battle between the Alien Team, The Marine Team, and the Predator Team.
----------------------------------

* If you never played Halo, then this is the explanation: One person's chosen to be the Hunter (predator) and the rest are marines. The Predator stalks the marines, and kills them for points. The marine who kills the Predator, becomes the Hunter after a few seconds of respawn time. You have a time limit within a time limit, meaning you can extend your time as the Hunter through kills, but only up to a certain point, where kills stop giving you additional hunt time. This allows everyone a chance at being the Hunter.
-----------------------------------

Note: This IS an AVP game...Expect blood and gore.
