So, a few of us in the Tinychat were talking about how awesome it would be to start a TKK Graphics Worm, so I figured I'd take this to the graphics board and throw it out for people willing to sign up and participate.

For those who don't know, a graphics worm is basically a HUGE collaborative effort between multiple designers. Each person gets a canvas to work from, always the same size. Each artist works from the piece before them to make a piece that's constantly flowing together.

It's hard to explain, so here are examples of a graphics worms:

Since we don't have a very large graphics community, people who want to will most likely end up participating in the worm multiple times. So we can have a sign up for people interested, which I'll keep up to date here. We can either go down that list start to finish each time, or we can make it a sort of first-come-first-serve after the first run through- whoever wants to continue can let everyone know. But how we work it is something we can talk about here, and I'll update this once we've reached a decision.

Once we get started, I'll make a new page for this and host it on TKK.

RULES:

1. You must put effort into your piece.
- Obviously, we want this worm to look as cool as it possibly can, so put some good effort into it and make your piece look as nice as possible!

2. Your piece must continue from the piece in front of yours.
- Looking at the example I gave above, you can see that each piece works from the one in front of it, continuing some elements of the one before while making a new piece that's still unique.

3. Give the next artist something to work with!
- Make sure to include something to the right of your piece that the next artist can work with!

4. Each piece will be 600 width by 450 height.

5. You will have one week to complete your piece.
- If you finish early, the next designer may choose to continue as soon as you finish. If you do not finish within your week, you give up your turn to the next person in line.

5. Keep it clean!
- Nothing dirty/inappropriate/graphic that we wouldn't allow on the main forum.

6. Have fun!
- This is supposed to be a fun group activity for designers, so have some fun with it!

Would be willing to make something for this. I haven't read the first post as I've got to head out for work but this should be fun and I'll read it more when I get home.

Uh, yeah, definitely Icky. I don't know how Beebs was put on the list twice. I really don't remember doing that.

But the week guideline is like, the longest possible scenario. Beebs had his done in a single night, and I believe KK_S is gonna be starting his.

Well, KKS was working on his late into the morning before he rage quit, then tried to do more, then rage quit again and went to bed, lol. But awesome, I was like all when I saw beebs was going twice, lol >_< Oh, and awesome Idea, I think this is really cool.

Well everyone will eventually go twice or more, if they want, when we cycle back through. But we won't have anyone go twice if there are people signed up who haven't gone yet.

I'm really not sure how to dumb it down more, but, um... Each person works on a piece that builds off of the piece before it, eventually creating a really long image known as a worm.

Did you happen to look at the examples I linked?

It's like a puzzle! Puzzles are fun. You've got lots of pieces and they need to go together. One person starts a piece of the puzzle and to the right of the image, leaves something that someone can continue from. Then the next person continues the puzzle by making something they want. When they are finished, they leave a continuing point on the right so that the next person can continue the puzzle. We call this a graphics worm. But for you, we'll call it a graphics PUZZLE!!! WOOOOO!!!

Yeah, it's not like I'm going to put out anything spectacular.

I'm going to try to get my sketching style into the worm, but I'm not sure how I'll make it flow with everything else. o_o

Becky mentioned this in the tinychat but this worm DOES NOT have to be KH related. It can be of anything you want, as long as it's within the forum rules (no nudity, racism, etc). You can use real people or made up people, anything you want. As if you were working on a graphic piece of your own.
