Xemnas's motives for finding the Chambers?

Xemnas's motives for finding the Chambers?

I'm not sure if this is in the right section, but Ill put it here since it has at least a little to do with BbS, since we find Aqua's armor in the Room of Repose.

So we all know Xemnas desperately wanted (wants?) to find the Room of Repose and Room of Awakening, but why? If Xehanort is indeed Terra and is looking for Aqua and Ven in the Chambers to be reunited with them again, I don't think that would make sense. Xemnas is a Nobody, he feels no emotions, so he can't be looking for them because he misses them or whatever.

So what are his true reasons for searching for the Chambers? Please post your thoughts.

I really don't know. All he wanted was supreme knowledge, so says 358. So it doesn't add up.

Yeah, and he wanted supreme ruling over the world or something, but I still don't get how finding VAT in the Chambers would really help with that, unless the Chambers have another purpose other than holding them.

Or, this is probably unlikely because Xemnas/Xehanort doesn't really have any strong positive emotions... but if Xehanort is indeed Terra, then maybe the only good feelings that are strong enough so that Xemnas is able to actually feel are his wanting to reunite with Ven and Aqua again.

Or maybe he wants to know something about something that only Aqua and Ven know? Like, something about the keyblade wars or the whereabouts of MX?

We don't know how much Xehanort knew, so we can't possibly begin to imagine what mattered to him most.

Maybe Xemnas has some other motives, you know? He is quite a hard person to figure out, and Nomura likes to leave bits and pieces out just to fool with us. Maybe it will all be uncovered when BbS comes out, I'm hoping so!

Yay, I'm happy I made it then!

And yeah, Xemnas is an awesome character because he's so hard to figure out... take 358/2 Days for example. Before it came out, we thought that he wanted a heart, and that was his reason for creating Kingdom Hearts ( or whatever he did with it), but then we find out that he wants power over everyone else in the Reports in 358.2 Days.

Whatever the real answer is, I hope it's surprising, but at the same time, convincing.
