From what we've seen, some of the Organization members have new weapons.
Roxas has a new Keyblade, Axel has new Chakrams, and Marluxia has a new scythe. I might have missed a couple other members who have been seen with weapons, but anyway.
Seeing as how 358/2 Days is going to be played from Roxas's point of view, how do you think these new weapons will be unlocked for multiplayer mode? I mean, Roxas will most likely be getting Keyblades just like Sora did in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, but what about the others? Is he just going to pick up a weapon for someone else in-game that he can't even use?

Hm, good thought.
I'm guessing it'll be something like how it is with Donald and Goofy- their basic weapons remain the same, but you can purchase upgrades with bonuses for strength and magic and stuff.
Interesting question, though. :o

Oh yeah, that's true. I forgot that some Organization members will accompany Roxas on his missions. I was just on the thought that "You're playing as Roxas in single player, but you'll be unlocking weapons that will only be used in multiplayer mode."
I guess it makes sense if you can use the weapons for other Organization members during story mode.

In the most recent additions to our Media page for 358/2 Days on the site, you can see that almost every member features a new weapon or two. I've seen two new shields for Vexen. :o
