Thank you for expressing interest in being a member of TKK's Article Staff! Our editors-in-chief have been selected, and we will soon begin discussing which members to invite onto the team. In order to make final decisions, however, we will need a sample article from you to determine how you write and to see if you're what we're looking for.

You can feel free to write about any subject that interests you, as long as it will reasonably fit into one of our main categories. As a reminder, those categories are: Community,Odds and Ends, Art, Media, and News. If you are unsure what kind of content we're looking for for each topic, please have a look through the Sophisticated Bidoof Squadron forum board at the relevant topics or browse through the content that can be found on the site already. It's important that your subject matter interests you; if you're not interested in what you're writing about, why would someone else be?

The main purpose of your article should be to keep your reader entertained. Get your subject matter across in a way that makes your reader want to read more.

We will be judging articles based upon the following:
-How interesting/entertaining the article is to read
-How relevant your article is to the main goals of the site (again, please reference the Sophisticated Bidoof Squadron if you are unsure what is meant by this)
-Your writing ability- small typos/errors won't be a big deal, as this is what editors-in-chief are for, but your ability to write well is important

Additionally, we'd like to know YOUR ideas. If you've been active in the SBS already- letting us know your ideas and how you'd like to take part in this- that will definitely be taken into consideration. If you've already been submitting articles through the forum as a member, that will be considered as well. If there is something specific you'd like to write as a regular feature, let us know what you've got in mind. If you're not looking to write something regularly, that's totally fine, too. Your sample article will give us an idea of what kinds of things to expect from you, as will any ideas you include in your application.

If you are not selected for the team, please don't be upset. We would still love to have you participate in the new system! As a non-article staff member, you will be able to submit articles to be approved by editors-in-chief. If you submit articles regularly, and we feature your submissions often, there is a good chance we will invite you to the team at a later time. We are not looking for a certain number of staff members. Rather, we are looking to choose everyone we feel belongs on the team. If you're not what we're looking for at this time, don't be discouraged, and please keep trying!

Please read article submission guidelines, which can be found in the following announcement: http://thekingdomkey...ouncement=4&f=0

When you have completed your sample article, please send it through PM to one of the editors-in-chief.

Thank you again for your interest! We look forward to reading your submission.
