Just recently, TMZ released a two and a half minute video showing clips from a pilot episode featuring eight Asian house mates (four male, four female) starring in a reality TV show that's supposedly "an Asian version of Jersey Shore," and is also going to "show Asian Americans like they've never been seen before to the rest of the world."

Now, I don't know how I appear to the rest of the world, but I'm certainly not as exciting as these young folk. The pilot's preview shows these young individuals partying "'til the sunrise".

For those that are unaware, I've spent my life surrounded by true Asian culture. I grew up in Asia when I was younger, but even when I came back to the states, my famil...

A few months ago, TKK's design team got together and started to discuss creating a resource pack for all those interested in graphics and digital art on our forums. Until recently, the word about it had been more or less up in the air, but we finally buckled down and started reviving the pack, filling it with clean, safe resources. Now we, the design team at TKK, present to you our very first Premiere Resource pack!

This resource pack is unique to TKK, as most of the resources were not only provided by TKK Design Team members but were created by us as well. Outside of TKK, resourc...

If there's anything you should know going into Inception, it's that it comes from the mind of Christopher Nolan. For reference, if MC Escher were a director he'd seem like a cheap imitator of Nolan's collective body of work. Seriously, try watching any one of his movies once, and only once. Now try reciting the entire plot. I promise you, you forgot something. Did you remember what Michael Caine was doing? Don't forget about the double! You see, I've figured out Nolan's gambit: set up an original and compelling premise and populate it with an interesting cast with good chemistry. Now that the trap is set, VIOLATE THE AUDIENCE'S TENDER, PINK, VIRGIN MINDS. They will come crawling back, tattered and broken, attempting to comprehend what it was that shattered their fragile reality.

The latest take on Nolan's maniacal plot to break unsuspecting moviegoers, Inception, is all about dreams. Leonardo DiCaprio extracts information from pe...

It's been a long road, but we're happy to finally welcome in a new era for The Kingdom Key. A new look, a new atmosphere, and most importantly, new content. More will continue to be added as we change and grow, but the essentials are here; it's time for us to officially reopen.

Contest

To celebrate our grand reopening, we're going to be holding a contest! Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. The contest is a simple one: you must refer as many people as possible to TKK within the next two months. Tell anyone you invite to mention in an intro topic that you referred them. If they do not do so, the referral will not count. I will be keeping track of referrals and paying close attention to the introduction forum.

This contest will last for two months. The member who refers the most new members will be the winner of the contest and the following ...

You know, when I woke up today, I didn't really think that the world of music was coming to an end. I didn't see any signs of the planet collapsing inwardly on itself, which is good. Sure, the radio was playing the same crap as usual.

http://img.photobuck...3/soulja_01.jpg

But you know what? I could live with that. Just the same garbage that's spewed out onto the airwaves every day by talentless hacks who promote promiscuity and drinking as much as possible. No big deal- nothing that could potentially destroy the universe.

And then I remembered, "oh yeah, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em continues to exist, and some unholy demonic entity continues to allow him the use of a recording studio. A studio which, I'm certain, lies somewhere deep in the ninth circle of Hell, just within the depths of Sa...

In 2005, Nickelodeon aired an animated fantasy-adventure series called Avatar: The Last Airbender. The series won many awards, and received high praise and positive reception. The series soon stormed the nation, becoming one of the top animated series of Nickelodeon. In 2010, a live action movie dubbed "The Last Airbender" was spawned, but to much lesser reception. For many Avatar fans, this was a let down for many reasons. For a moment, fans were left wondering if the Avatar series would be left to die with the live-action film. It has been confirmed however, that the series isn't quite over yet.

Although the creators of the show had plans to leave the show at its finale, the success of Avatar: The Last Airbender caused not only fans, but Nickelodeon executives to ask for more episodes. Avatar: The Legend of Korra is a new animated spin-off series confirmed to be released in 2011. Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the writer and director of the...

In the world of Art, artists are surrounded by many walls and obstacles. Financial obstacles, creative blocks, work overloads, the list goes on and on. One might say that artists truly cut and bleed for their art. But of these obstacles, one rises above them. A threat that has plagued every artist's mind and driven us into a corner of frustration and near insanity. This threat has many names, but somewhere along the way we've all dubbed it by a three letter acronym that in itself is both a threat and a salvation to artists... We call this CnC.

What is CnC? It simply stands for Critique and/or Comment (it's my own theory that we first called it "CaC" but, as that's equivalent to a Minnesotan's male private part, we opted to "CnC" instead). In the world of art, when one posts his or her work on a forum or public display, it's common courtesy to ask for CnC. Here are some hidden rules when asking for CnC that will help you either a...

Hello everyone, Miss Ninja here! If you're reading this now, I'm sure you've noticed what a mess the site is at this time. We're working our hardest to get everything fixed up and ready to go with the huge revamp project.

What revamp? Well, if you're asking this, I'm going to assume you're either new to the site or have not been keeping up with current TKK events. Up until recently, The Kingdom Key has been a Kingdom Hearts fansite. When our community realized this label no longer reflected our interests, we decided to change and grow rather than die.

Our new direction will be entirely community-driven. If you wish to be part of everything that's going on, please check out the Sophisticated Bidoof Squadron for information.

We are currently looking for members to be included on ou...
